Wrap a strip of paper around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length in millimetres.

Measure across your closed hand at its widest point. 2.4 inches (6.1 cm) is our standard; 2.6 is a comfortable fit for larger hands. Kids' sizes start at 1.8 inches.
Chains
16 inch sits at the collarbone, 18 inch just below, 20 to 22 inch rests on the chest. Men's chains are usually 20 to 24 inch.
